PESHAWAR (News Desk) – About sixty seven thousand Afghan refugees have been repatriated to their country from Pakistan under the voluntary repatriation programme this year.
A spokesman of the UNHCR said that additional staff has been deployed at the UNHRC Voluntary Repatriation Centre to facilitate the refugees willing to return to their homes in Afghanistan.
The UNHCR is providing four hundred dollars to each refugee going back to Afghanistan. The amount will help refugees settle in their native areas.
The Afghan refugees have been asked to contact the UNHCR Voluntary Repatriation Center before departing for Afghanistan to avail the benefits.
