Robbers kill SHO Shadbagh in DHA

LAHORE (Web Desk) – A police officer was shot and killed for resisting a robbery in Defence Housing Authority on Saturday, police said.

Station House Officer (SHO) Tajammul Hussain Butt, who was stationed at Shadbagh Police Station, was intercepted in Defence Phase 7 by unidentified robbers.

Sources said the SHO put up a resistance after which robbers opened fire and sped away.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead as brought.

Heavy contingent of police reached the scene and cordoned off the area. A search operation was underway.
