KARACHI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) decided to appoint Firdous Shamim Naqvi as opposition leader in Sindh Assembly, on Monday.
Naqvi won the seat of Sindh Assembly from PS-101 constituency and bagged 28,034 votes.
Naqvi is PTI’s Parliamentary leader in Karachi City Council and in his statement, Naqvi said that he will resign from the City Council membership after taking oath as a member provincial assembly.

On the other hand, it is learnt that Khurram Sher Zaman will be the parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly for Imran-Khan led party.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had garnered 22 seats in the assembly to be ruled over by Pakistan peoples Party having 74 seats.
