Another APS attack executor apprehended

RAWALPINDI (web Desk) – Security forces on Monday arrested one of the main executors of the Army Public School (APS) attack in Peshawar.

Identified as Taj Muhammad alias Rizwan, the terrorist, was apprehended in a raid conducted on an intelligence tip off.

Taj was the commander of the second group that attacked the APS. The other terrorist group was being led by Atiqur Rehman alias Usman who has already been arrested.

Taj, 27, is a resident of Sippah, Koi Chowk, Bara, Khyber. He had disguised himself as an IDP (internally displaced person) in Pawakai village of Peshawar.

He has confessed to his affiliation with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan since 2008 and involvement in many other terrorist activities in North Waziristan and in Peshawar.

Terrorists on December 16 carried out one of the most horrific attacks in the history of Pakistan in which at least 150 people, mostly children, were killed.
