Strong earthquake jolts Turkey

ISTANBUL – Strong tremors were felt in parts of Central Turkey on Tuesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

Media reports suggest that a magnitude 5.5 quake struck Turkey which and it was recorded at a depth of 12 km, per reports.

The tremors caused panic in residents as people are still living in fear, more than five months after catastrophic earthquake that killed thousands of people.
