MIRPUR (Web Desk) – India, in their final group game, thrashed UAE by nine wickets to maintain a clean record before the final of the Asia Cup.
After restricting UAE for 81/9, India lost the only wicket of Rohit Sharma (39) before Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan sealed the win for them.
Rohit put on 43 runs in the opening stand with Shikhar Dhawan before he was caught by Mohammad Naveed of Qadeer Ahmed in third man area, in what turned out to be the UAE s only success in the game.
