MANCHESTER – England picked up six wickets on third day of the second Test to bowl out Pakistan for 198 during its first innings in Manchester on Sunday.
Misbah-ul-Haq, the Pakistan captain, was 22 not out after Yasir Shah got out for one to what became the last ball before lunch.
Pakistan lead the four-match series 1-0 after their 75-run win in the first Test at Lord’s last week.
Earlier, Pakistan resumed playing on Day-3 at 57/4, with skipper Misbah Ul Haq and Shan Masood at the crease. Masood lost his wicket at 39.
The visitors have a massive first-inning chase ahead of them after hosts England posted a mammoth total of 589 for nine (decl). Pakistan is still trailing by 518 runs with five wickets remaining.
