LAHORE – Remember the dreamy-eyed Chaiwala who became an internet sensation? Now the social media sensation, Arshad Khan aka ‘Chaiwala’, has featured in his first commercial advertisement, drawing huge praise from netizens.
The 18-year-old Khan, who shot to fame in Pakistan, India and Gulf countries after his photo went viral on social media, has appeared in a motorcycle commercial.
His rugged looks wearing a jacket and helmet in the ad has gone viral again on popular social networking sites.

He had late last month signed up with a retail site in Pakistan, fitin.pk, as a model, and has since then landed many advertising contracts.
Praise from Shah Rukh Khan
In a recent interview, Arshad Khan was asked which celebrity he thought he looked like. He confidently responded, Shah Rukh Khan!
The video was shared multiple times and finally, even King Khan took notice. The superstar retweeted the video saying, “How sweet is this. Beauty lies in simplicity.”

One of 18 siblings, Arshad hails from Kohat and had been making tea at Islamabad’s Sunday Bazaar for three months until he was discovered by photographer Jiah Ali, who shared his pictures on Instagram.
Now that Shah Rukh Khan has blessed Arshad on social media, maybe the superstar’s success will rub off on junior Khan as a good luck charm.
