SRINAGAR – In a bid to tackle stone pelters in Indian-occupied Kashmir, a special force by the name ‘Sena’ has been formed, said Indian media on Tuesday.
The Public Army formed by Head priest of the Siddhnath temple, Kanpur, Balyogi Arun Puri Chaitanya Maharaj comprises 13000 members currently and it vows to give a befitting reply to stone throwers in the restive region.
Arun Puri is meeting religious leaders in Kanpur and adjoining areas to discuss his plan for the valley. He claimed that 100 youths of each civic ward have enrolled for Jan Sena force in Kanpur.
“I appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to permit the Sena to go to Kashmir and teach the separatist forces there a lesson,” he said.
“We aren’t asking the government for anything in return but will appreciate if the volunteers are allowed to spend the nights in army camps,” Puri said.
