RAWALPINDI – Security forces have gunned down four terrorists during intelligence based operations launched by FC under operation Raddul Fasaad in Kohlu and Dera Bugti, areas of Balochistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a soldier of FC was also injured during exchange of fire with the terrorists.
The terrorists’ hideouts were dismantled following the recovery of improvised explosive devices (IED) and communication equipment from killed anti-state elements.
The killed terrorists were involved in extortion, kidnapping for ransom, attacks on security forces and other sabotage activities.
On August 3, the FC foiled a major terror bid being planned to sabotage Independence Day celebration during an operation in Kuchmina, Zhob.
