LAHORE – Fast bowler Mohammed Amir fulfilled the tremendous expectations placed on him with an excellent comeback spell during Pakistan’s practice match against Somerset on Sunday in England.
Pakistan posted a decent total of 359 runs on the board with the help of Younis Khan (104) and Asad Shafiq (80).
In reply, Amir, who was included in Pakistan’s Test squad after five years, demolished the opponent’s batting order with a stunning three-wicket haul. With plenty of swing on offer, Amir looked unplayable on the green pitch.
