KARACHI – The death of Abdul Sattar Edhi, founder of one of the nation’s largest private welfare organization’s the Edhi Foundation, has saddened millions around the globe and also given rise to question’s about the foundation’s future.
In an apparent answer to these questions, Faisal Edhi, the renowned philanthropist’s son, said that he would lead the Edhi Foundation with the same courage as his father did. Faisal expressed that while he could never match his father, he would see to it that his mission to serve humanity continued.
Even today, while Edhi was being laid to rest, the foundation did not stop its work with the oppressed and needy and the control room of foundation kept working at its regular pace, without pause.
