India mourns the death of Abdul Sattar Edhi
INDIA - The news of Edhi's death has sparked grief across the border with Indians also mourning the demise of the revered social worker.

As soon as the news of Edhi's death hit the airwaves, politicians and celebrities from across India condoled with the family of Edhi.

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj expressed her condolences on Twitter.

Moreover, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan also paid homage to the deceased social worker.

Indian Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot also took to Twitter to express his views regarding Edhi.

Indian screen idol Anupam Kher also mourned over the death of Edhi.
