MULTAN – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army chief General Raheel Sharif arrived in Khairpur Tamiwali, Multan on Wednesday to witness military exercises termed as ‘Raad ul Barq’.
Chief of army staff General Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar also accompanied the premier at the occasion.
The COAS briefed the gathering about the exercises before the event began.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood, along with three services chiefs are also present at the occasion. The exercises are being carried out jointly by Pakistan Army and Air Force.
Lt. General Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmed briefed the audience about the military exercise and emphasized that the purpose of the exercise was to increase the capability of Pakistan’s military.
Lt. General Nadeem further said Pakistan was fully capable of tackling any aggression.
