Pakistan Railways to reduce fares by 33 percent during Eid holidays

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Railways will reduce the fares on all train tickets by 33 percent for the first and second day of Eidul Fitr.

This was said by Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique at the Pakistan Railways Headquarters on Friday.

To facilitate commuters on this Eid, Pakistan Railways will also run 10 special trains from Quetta, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Peshawar.

Reservation of tickets for the passengers of the special Eid trains will start from June 27. Earlier, Pakistan Railways had announced a special package for Ramazan in which fares were reduced by up to 25 percent.
