ISLAMABAD – Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Farogh Naseem said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is holding across the board accountability without any interference, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that the government has neither pressurized NAB chairman nor created hurdles in his inquiry against corrupt elements.
The minister said that NAB Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal is an honest person and he is investigating against corrupts independently and transparently.
He urged political parties to refrain from creating obstacles in duties and responsibilities of the NAB chairman.
The minister said that reports have been surfacing that the viral video of the woman is fake, adding that “The husband and wife intend to make inquiry against them controversial”.
Barrister Farogh said that “The prime minister and opposition leader can remove the NAB chief through consultation, but Imran Khan does not wish anything like that.”
