ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – All Army Public Schools and Colleges working under Federal Garrison Board have been closed for three days, a statement said on Thursday.
According to the announcement, the holidays will last from January 27 to January 29.
The statement, however, carried no information about the reason behind unusual closure of schools and colleges.
The move comes a day after Punjab Government announced that private and public sector schools across the province will remain closed for five days due to recent wave of intense cold weather.
According to a notification issued by the provincial government, all of the schools to remain close from January 26 to January 31. Schools will reopen on February 1, it added.
Earlier the educational institutions remained closed for winter vacations from December 22, 2015 to December 31, 2015.
