Quetta police college carnage: Balochistan CM Zehri suspends three police officials

QUETTA – Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri on Thursday suspended Police Training College (PTC) Commandant Captain (r) Tahir Naveed, Deputy Commandant Yameen Khan and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Ajmal over security lapse that led to terror attack which left over 60 people dead and over a hundred others injured on Monday night.

Talking to the media, Zehri said that action against the top officials responsible for the security lapse.

The Balochistan government on Wednesday announced the formation of a high level inquiry commission to probe the Quetta police college attack.

The inquiry commission, in its preliminary report held all three officers responsible for not taking necessary security measures.
