Severe heat continues as mercury touches 52 C in Turbat

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecast severe heat wave conditions for most parts of the country during next 24 hours.

A continental air continues to prevail over most parts of the country, the MET predicted. However, rain and thunderstorm are expected at a few places in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas

Maximum temperature recorded in different cities on Monday was: Turbat, Sibbi 52°C, Bahwalnagar, Jacobabad 51, Larkana 50, Dadu, Sukkur, Moen-jo-darro 49, Noorpurthal, RY Khan, Bhakkar, Bahawalnagar 48°C.

The highest maximum temperature was recorded 52 C in Turbat.
