LAHORE (Staff Report) – Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has ordered railway tracks to be upgraded so that passengers can be provided better facilities.
Chairing a meeting at the Railway Academy at Walton in Lahore, he said that upgrading the tracks would help increase the income of railways and restore people’s confidence in the department.
Addressing a function in Lahore later, the minister said that the progress and development of the country could not be halted by protests and sit-ins.
He asked PTI chairman Imran Khan to focus on the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the province in which the PTI runs the government, instead of criticizing the PML-N led federal government.
