KARACHI — Qatar is all set to open its second Visa Facilitation Centre in port city Karachi on Saturday committed to the goal of filling 100,000 job vacancies in the Middle Eastern country.
The first Qatar Visa Center in Pakistan was indurated on Thursday, in Islamabad by Zulfikar Bukhari, Special Assistant to Prime Minister along with Qatari Ambassador.
The aim of opening these centers is to simplify and facilitate procedures for employers, as well as to provide more protection to Pakistani workers.
Fingerprinting and processing biometric data, medical examinations and signing employment contract are the key services that will be provided by the visa center in Karachi.

The first overseas Qatar Visa Center (QVC) was inaugurated in Colombo, Sri Lanka in October this year.
The project targets employment through 20 service center in eight countries: Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Nepal, Tunisia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and the Philippines.
