27th Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Open Golf Championship from Thursday

PESHAWAR – The 27th edition of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Open Golf Championship will commence from November 1 over 54-holes, top national and international golfers will be participating for the top honor here at PAF Golf Course.

The championship, carrying a prize of Rs 2 million, is the major event of the country where the top golfers from all over the country i.e Professional, Senior Professionals, Junior Professionals, (Amateurs (Handicap 12 & below), Senior Amateurs (Handicap 14 & below), Subsidiary (HCP-13-18), Ladies Amateurs (Handicap 36 & below), Veterans & Boys Category “A” & “B” will take part in their respective categories.

In Pros category 100 Professional, 100 Amateurs category, 50 Senior Amateurs, 50 Ladies category and 15 boys players to participate in the championship.

International golfer Muhammad Munir will defend his title. Besides, the professionals, amateur HCP 12 and below with subsidiary match of HCP 13-18, ladies over HCP 24 and below, senior amateur to be played over HCP 14 and below, veterans and boys affiliated with Pakistan Golf Federation would vie for the top honor.
