QUETTA – The Balochistan government has decided not issue salaries for the month of October to unverified employees.
The Finance Department of Balochistan has issued necessary instructions to all departments to identify ghost employees in public sector across the province.
Under these instructions, the relevant officer or in-charge was required to submit verified lists of employees to the Accountant General’s office and the district finance offices.
Salaries for all unverified employees will be halted starting from October. Officials said that salaries for October will only be issued based on the verified list.
All departments and officers who have not yet submitted the verified lists are urged to submit them to the Accountant General’s office and the district finance offices by October 28, 2024.
The government warned that all unverified employees’ salaries will be considered ghost employees and will not be paid salary for October 2024.
