PM Nawaz calls cabinet meeting tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on Friday in Islamabad  to discuss important issues including the ongoing tension across Line of Control.

The cabinet meeting will be briefed about border security, army preparations and foreign affairs in view of the postponement of SAARC conference and Indian claims of surgical strikes inside Pakistan.

PM Nawaz will also take the cabinet into confidence over his US visit and plans thrashed out to bolster national security.

Earlier, while taking aim at Indian aggression and cross-border firing, he said Pakistan can thwart any evil design to undermine the sovereignty of Pakistan.

PM warned that Pakistan’s intent for peaceful neighbourhood should not be mistaken as its weakness.
