ISLAMABAD – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday (today) on a two days official visit to Pakistan. The Turkish President will also be accompanied by delegate of his ministers, advisors and business personalities.
During his visit, the Turkish president will also address the joint-session of the Parliament on Thursday and would be visiting Lahore as well.
The Turkish President will meet his counter-part Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister during his visit. Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss Pak-Turk relations, regional and world scenarios and other maters during these meetings.
After the address at joint-session of the parliament, the Turkish president will be invited to a feast by Pakistani president.
In addition, CM Punjab will also arrange a sumptuous feat for respectable guests at Lahore Fort.
Foreign Office revealed that the Turkish president’s visit will further strengthen the cordial relationships that the two countries share and that Turkey has always supported Pakistan over issues like Kashmir and other strategic matters.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has earlier decided to boycott the joint sitting of parliament owing to ‘controversial’ Premier in the after math of Panama Leaks.
