SWABI – Three people, including a Pakistani-born Portuguese national who was visiting the country after two decades, were killed when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Swabi on Tuesday.
Twelve other passengers, including women and children, were shifted to Swabi District Hospital with multiple injuries.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle at Bator Village on the way to Topi tehsil.
The Pakistani-born Portuguese was identified as Ikram Ullah. Ikram was visiting his native town after 22 years to celebrate Eid with family. Another passenger, killed in the crash, was a school teacher Mohammad Ali. The third dead body was yet to be identified.
