Renowned playwright Dr Enver Sajjad passes away in Lahore

LAHORE- Drama writer, legendary author and critic Dr Anwar Sajjad passed away in Lahore today. He spent his final hours at his residence on Raiwind Lahore. Sajjad was not only known for an impeccable command on short-story writing and fiction at large but he was an incredibly talented voice-over artist, teacher and a mentor to several leading names in the industry. Dr Enver Sajjad has not only written a number of books but has also starred in dramas aired on PTV. Born on May 27, 1935, his real name was Syed Mohammad Sajjad Enver Ali Bukhari.
