Pakistan to observe Eidul Fitr holidays from June 26-28

ISLAMABAD – The federal government has announced holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr from June 26th to 28th, 2017, according to a notification issued on Wednesday.

The holy month of Ramazan, which began on May 28th, 2017, has stepped into its second Ashrah (middle 10 days).

Muslims around the world along with fasting and keeping with their religious duties have also begun preparation for Eid ul-Fitr 2017.

The holy month shall last for 29 days or 30 days subject to the appearance of the moon. As Muslims follow Hijri Calendar, Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated on first of Shawwal.
