RAWALPINDI – The Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, announced that Pakistani authorities have taken up the alleged suspension of Pakistani social media accounts posting in support of Kashmir with Twitter and Facebook.
The official, through his personal Twitter account on Sunday, invited social media users to share information about accounts that have been suspended.

‘Indian staff at their regional headquarters is the reason,’ the military’s spokesman said.
The statement comes as #StopSuspendingPakistanis trended on Twitter in Pakistan, with social media buffs asking on the microblogging site to stop suspension of accounts posting slogans in support of Kashmir.
Earlier this week, a Twitter account of Pakistani journalist was suspended after he responded to a tweet from Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Social media users in Pakistan are quite active nowadays calling on Narendra Modi regime to review the revoking of special status granted to Kashmir.
The BJP government scrapped article 370 and 35A of the constitution following which netizens fired a broadside at the ruling regime in India.
Scores of social media users reported that their accounts were suspended for anti-India and pro-Kashmir tweets, decrying the freedom of expression available to them.
Recently, Pakistanis also lavished praise on DG ISPR by trending #IamDGISPR besides trying to divert the attention of the international community towards the plight of people in Kashmir.
