SRINAGAR – Continuing with its tradition, Dukhtaran-e-Millat (Daughters of Nation), a women’s group fighting for freedom in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, celebrated Pakistan Day amid Indian aggression.
Sayeda Asieya Andrabi, the founding leader of the Islamic group, led the event. A group of women were also present on the occasion, expressing their resolve to become part of Pakistan.
The group holding Pakistan flags in their hands chanted pro-Pakistan slogans, giving a strong message to India, which is trying to suppress the freedom movements with its atrocities.
Addressing the audient, Andrabi said that struggled against India oppression will continue until the freedom is achieved and Kashmir become a part of Pakistan.

Pakistan Day is celebrated to mark the Lahore Resolution on March 23 each year. The Lahore Resolution, also known as Pakistan Resolution, passed on March 23, 1940, is considered a major milestone in the Muslim struggle for an independent state.
