QUETTA – Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa, expressed on Thursday that having withstood challenges in recent past, Pakistan is going through an evolutionary process of its journey to enduring peace and stability.
The military chief visited Command and Staff College Quetta and addressed student officers and faculty of Staff Course 2018/19.
The top commander shared his thoughts on national security and added that the process of enduring peace was slow but on a positive trajectory, the military’s media wing stated.
General Bajwa said that we need to stay steadfast and carry forward the efforts towards set national objectives. Acknowledging and hailing contributions and performance of young officers in the counter-terrorism operations as well as during recent standoff along the eastern border, the military chief appreciated the officers for their professional pursuits to meet and prevail over future challenges of national security.
Commander Southern Command was also present on the occasion.
