ISLAMABAD – The State Bank of Pakistan has announced a bank holiday across the country on January 1, 2026.
All banks, financial institutions, and microfinance banks will remain closed, while bank employees will report to work as usual.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, no public transactions will take place on January 1 due to the bank holiday.
