Bahrain’s foreign affairs minister, Brunei armed forces commander call on Pakistan’s army chief

RAWALPINDI – Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday.

During the meeting matters of mutual interest, including security situation in the region were discussed, said a news release issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflict prevention in the region and also pledged to keep working for better relations between the two brotherly countries.

Separately, General Bajwa held a meeting with Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

The visiting dignitary acknowledged the sacrifices and achievements of Pakistan Army in the fight against terrorism and efforts towards regional peace.
