PAKPATTAN – A man has gunned down his daughter for not waking him in Seher time in eastern Punjab province of Pakistan.
The victim’s uncle, Mukhtar Ahmad told local media that his brother, a resident of Pakpattan, opened fire on his own daughter for not waking him for Seher, a pre-dawn meal in the holy month of Ramazan, The poor girl died on the spot, he added.
Police have registered a case of murder against the man, yet to be named, based on Ahmad’s claims. Further investigation is underway.
