ISLAMABAD – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has accepted Prime Minister Imran Khan’s invitation and will make a two-day visit to Pakistan in October, it emerged on Friday.
According to media reports, the Turkish president will arrive in Pakistan on October 24 with a delegation of investors and businessmen. The schedule of the visit will be finalized by next week.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently in New York to attend 74th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session, met Erdogan on the sidelines and invited him to visit Pakistan.

Erdogan had also highlighted the issue of Occupied Kashmir during his address to UNGA. Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia had also vowed to set up a channel to portray the true image of Muslims across the world.
