PTI chief Imran Khan meets India PM Modi in New Delhi

NEW DEHLI (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has held a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Indian capital city.

PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi termed the Friday’s meeting positive, saying that the duo also discussed Pak-India cricket series.

“Imran Khan asked Modi for promoting cricket,” Qureshi told the Pakistani media and added that Narendra Modi responded “positively”.

Later, the PTI chief was seen along with former Indian captain Kapil Dev in an interview.

Khan is in India to attend a conference on Pakistan-India relations in New Delhi.

Earlier, PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazri on micro-blogging website, twitter, said her party chairman is in Indian capital on the invitation of India Today.
