LAHORE (Staff Report) – Member of Punjab Assembly Kanwal Nauman is in coma following a brain hemorrhage on Monday, hospital sources said.
The former TV actress was rushed to Jinnah Hospital after fainting Monday morning.
She was immediately shifted from her residence in Gulberg, and is under treatment at the hospital. According to doctors, the hemorrhage occurred due to high blood pressure.
A team of senior doctors is conducting a detailed examination of the provincial lawmaker.
Kanwal Nauman, a well-known actress of Pakistan, was elected on reserved seats for women in Punjab Assembly.
She belongs to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and is the member of Home Affairs, Special education.
