A clip went viral online, showing a Pakistani man installing a surveillance camera on his daughter’s head, and it has everyone talking. The incident, which has gone viral on social media, raises questions about the limitations of parental control.
In an interview, the girl – with a visible CCTV cam affixed to her head. – seems unfazed, saying that she supports her father’s decision because it reflects his care for her safety.
As the teen refused to go against her father, the man’s actions have drawn widespread criticism, with many social media users expressing concerns about the potential psychological impact on the child and the invasion of her privacy.
Some people called it a ‘disordered state of mind’ while others said it could create problems for the girl as constant surveillance can adversely affect a child’s mental health.
