PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has issued a statement regarding the protest scheduled for October 4 at D-Chowk in Islamabad, asserting that, no matter how long it takes, they will reach D-Chowk.
PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said they will reach D-Chowk at every cost to participate in PTI protest on October 4.
In his video message, the chief minister stated that the public would break the shackles of fear to protect the constitution and uphold the rule of law.
He said that they were fighting for true freedom and would continue to do so until they reclaim their rights.
Gandapur condemned the federal government and the Punjab government for their violent actions, declaring that they were determined to exercise their constitutional rights.
He criticised the illegal seizure of private vehicles, warning that owners should not bring their cars onto the motorway, as they will not be held responsible for any damages.
He further noted that the federal and Punjab governments are harassing vehicle owners to confiscate their cars. He mentioned that they would depart from Peshawar at 10am and from Swabi at 11am.
CM Gandapur acknowledged flaws in the planning of their previous protest, which led to an early withdrawal. He highlighted the lack of proper protective equipment, such as masks, for workers and leaders during the tear gas shelling.
This time, Gandapur assured that well-trained workers and essential equipment would lead the procession to avoid similar issues.
