Pakistani delegation to visit Tehran to finalise gas pipeline project

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – A Pakistani delegation will soon visit Tehran to finalise gas deals reached between the two countries during President Hassan Rouhani’s recent visit to Islamabad.

Managing Director of National Iranian Gas Exporting Company Ali Reza Kameli in Tehran said that  Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh, who accompanied President Rouhani, discussed different economic issues as well as removal of problems regarding export of gas to Pakistan.

The Iranian official said the gas agreement will further strengthen economic and cultural relations between the two countries. He said President Rouhani emphasises gas interactions with neighboring countries, specially Pakistan.
