LAHORE (Staff Report) – New Head Coach of the Pakistan cricket team Mickey Arthur is set to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday evening, after obtaining a visa from the Pakistani High Commission in Australia.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Head Coach will also address a press conference in Lahore shortly after his arrival, in which he will inform newsmen about how he plans to improve Pakistani cricket.
Arthur expected arrival in Pakistan comes just days after Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq announced the 17-member Test squad for the away series against England.

Arthur dud not attend the PCB’s two back-to-back training camps aimed at boosting physical fitness of cricketers due to prior commitments.
Sources say that PCB now wants to hold another training camp in England, after the squad’s arrival on June 17. The camp will give Arthur an opportunity to train the players further.
Pakistan is set to play four Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is against England, during the forthcoming tour, concluding in September.
The 17-member Test squad announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) comprises of skipper Mibah-ul-Haq, Muhammad Hafeez, Sami Aslam, Shaan Masood, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Sarfraz Ahmad, Rizwan Ahmad, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Mohammad Amir, Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar, Sohail Khan, Asad Shafique and Iftikhar Ahmad.
