FAISALABAD (Web Desk) – A man received severe burns on his face and neck after his older brother hurled acid on him in a row over a cellphone charger in 541-GB Chakkian on Monday, police said.
According to CCPO Afzaal Ahmad, the 27-year-old suspect Ashraf Hussain threw acid on his younger brother Sharafat Hussain after the two got into an argument about who would use the home’s only cell phone charger first.
Sharafat was rushed to Allied Hospital Faisalabad in a critical condition while Ashraf managed to fled the scene.
