Bilawal meets families of APS martyrs

KARACHI – Family members of the students martyred at the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar attack met with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the Bilawal House on Sunday.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that those who target children, women and innocent people are cowards, adding that his mother laid down her life in the struggle against extremism.

The delegation also informed Bilawal Bhutto about the establishment of Trauma Centers in Peshawar and Lahore like the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Trauma Center built by the PPP government in Karachi.

Heirs of APS martyrs told Bilawal that theShuhda-e-APS Trauma Center would be established for the purpose of the revival and rehabilitation of the affected families of the 144 innocent martyrs in the APS Peshawar attack. Families of the martyrs and the injured students have joined hands to raise funds for this Trauma Center in the heart of Lahore.

More than 140 people, most of them students, were martyred when terrorists attacked the Army Public School in Peshawar on December 16, 2014.
