ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) –Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tariq Masood Yasin has revealed that terrorists wanted to attack universities and five-star hotels like Mumbai terror attacks.
In a meeting related to Internal affairs, convened by Senator Rehman Malik, Tariq said that terrorists wanted to attack universities and five-star hotels like Mumbai terror attacks, adding that security agencies had foiled these major attacks in June.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar expressed resentment over IG’s statement.
