Supreme court judge barred from casting vote in AJK polls

MUZZAFARABAD – A judge of the Azad Kashmir Supreme Court on Thursday was barred from casting the vote in the Legislative Assembly polls when he failed to produce an original CNIC at the polling station.

According to reports, Justice Saeed Akram had reached polling station number 45 of LA-5 in Barnala and was about to cast his vote when he was asked to leave the polling station for not having original CNIC with him.

All voters are advised to produce their original CNICs to vote in the AJK general elections.
