KARACHI (Staff Report) – The Ministry of Interior has extended powers of Pakistan Rangers in Karachi for another period of 90 days.
Interior Ministry has issued a notification in this regard. The powers have been extended on request of the provincial government of Sindh.
The extension has been granted under clause 1, sub-section 3, of section 4 of the Anti-terrorism Act 1997(XXVII of 1997) and will take effect from the October 18.
