LAHORE – A guardian court on Tuesday issued arrest warrant for former Prime Minister (PM) Yousaf Raza Gilani’s daughter Fizza Batool.
Fiza Gilani’s ex-husband Khurram Khan had submitted an appeal, saying his former wife was not allowing him to meet their son. He requested the court to let him visit his son, and ensure his former spouse follows the law.
Guardian court judge Awais Malik issued the warrants for not complying with the orders of the court.
The court had ordered Defence police to present former Goodwill Ambassador for Women Empowerment along with her child in the court on October 20.
Reports suggested that Fiza tied the knot with Khan in 1998 and got divorced in 2011.
