Mashal Khan kept raising academic issues of students in last interview (see video)

MARDAN – Mashal Khan, Mass Communication student of Abdul Wali Khan University, raised academic issues faced by him and his fellow students just two days before he was beaten to death.

In his last interview to a local television, Mashal said in Pashto language that the degrees of students were delayed due to absence of vice-chancellor.

He demanded the authorities to appoint a pro-vice chancellor so that the waiting students can avail their degrees.

Mashal in a blatant tone also questioned as to why senior professors of the university were holding multiple positions.

He complained about the exorbitant fee being charged from the students and said that Abdul Wali Khan University, a government university was receiving Rs. 25000 as fee which was unfair.
