Panama verdict: PM Nawaz bars party workers from visiting SC today

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has prohibited workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz from going to Supreme Court today (Thursday).

In his statement, the premier ordered that no irrelevant person should visit the apex court that would announce the verdict of landmark Panama case at 2 PM today.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan has also barred party members from going to Supreme Court, in a bid to help law enforcers maintain the law and order situation.

The directives came as the apex court is set to disclose the most sought-after Panama verdict after having reserved the judgement on February 23.

Special passes have been issued to a limited amount of political leaders and security in the vicinity of court has already been beefed up. According to Superintendent Police, Supreme Court, no one will be allowed to carry any sort of weapon in Red Zone area of the capital.

The judgement that was reserved for around 57 days would be announced in courtroom no. 1.
