JHANG – PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari on Friday expressed that his party would send ‘Mian Sahab’ (prime minister) home like it ousted Gen (retd) Musharraf.
In his explosive speech to a mammoth crowd in Shah Jeewana, the former president said; “We have to remove Sharif’s this time. We have to conquer the fort of Punjab now”.
He said that the Sindh Assembly had passed a resolution of “Go-Nawaz-Go” today.
In a rare reference to the prime minister, Zardari said ‘Mian Sahab’ you would not go to your home but ‘some other home’. The political stalwart claimed that all four provinces wanted to get rid of the premier.

“This is my first public meeting Punjab and this is just the beginning,” Zardari expressed and said that there was no electricity in the country while the country’s foreign debt had doubled.
In a fierce tone, the co-chairman sporadically slammed premier Nawaz Sharif and said: You cannot do anything except having government food and I am ready to provide you food at Landhi jail.
On the occasion, Zardari felicitated former federal minister Faisal Saleh Hayat on rejoining PPP.
Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in his address, said the Panama verdict had proved that one decision is for Sharif’s while the other for nation.

He recalled that the BB’s government was dislodged through a single article of the Constitution in the past.
It bears mentioning that Zardari had demanded resignation of Nawaz Sharif on Thursday following the verdict by apex court in Panama case. A day before the judgement, he categorically refused throwing weight behind Nawaz Sharif even for saving democracy.
